The stained glass windows found in this edifice were put in place during 1953 to 1961 and are the work of the famed Wilbur H. Burnham. The special blue of the windows is a Burnham trademark. It is said that the sand used to make this blue is now so polluted that this deep richness is impossible to recreate and Mr. Brunham refused to add this touch in his later works. These symbols which you see and sense are to illumine and inspire -- i.e. lead you forth into service to your fellow man.
